In keeping with our tradtion of presenting classic films plucked from the cinematic trashcan (since 2006 if you've been paying attention), welcome to our very own "CULT CINEMA CLASSICS". Add one part "MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATRE" (or "MST3K" as it's known to the faithful), one part B Movie Drive-In fodder and one part of Pittsburgh's own "CHILLER THEATRE" and you have a recipe sure to cure the Monday night blahs!
Have a movie YOU'D like to host? All you have to do is ask and bring along some friends. (The more the merrier and all that.) As long as it is along the lines of cult or campy that we can make fun of (slash or gore films just aren't that funny), we'll give you an evening all your own. Or just stop in and see what it's all about and you'll agree: Mondays don't have to suck anymore!!! |

Join our resident Wii Golf Pros BRIAN, ROB and myself (along with CANDY, DANIELLE and RENEE) for nine holes (or eighteen, time permitting) of the most challenging courses the Wii console has to offer. Whether its the Wii Sports Classic Course, Wii Sports Resorts Classic or Resort course, video golfing has never been more enjoyable than when your teeing up here at The House! All matches result in both a Match and Skins Game winner! And as you will learn, Jello shots are an integral part of any House Golf Challenge. After a few of those, you don't mind replacing the divots ...

Well actually it's the "Hittsburgh Vinyl Collector Meeting", but whatever you call it, it's an evening for the real music afficianado! Anywhere from eight to sixteen different D J's play music from their private record collections, including tunes from the 40'S (yes, thats right: the 40'S!) all the way up till the present, with the emphasis on the more obscure, seldom heard tunes. Interested in a playing slot? Call Bill @ 412-835-4454.
AND... they buy, sell or trade any old 33, 45 or 78 vinyl you might have (if it's worth buying, selling or trading of course; by now EVERYONE has a copy of "Snoopy and the Red Baron" ... don't they? There's never a cover charge, and everyone is welcome!

Musicians both near and far are welcome to join House Soundman Steve Haggerty and the remaining members of the House Band ("kick") for an evening of jamming and musical whatnot. Electric or acoustic, whatever works for you.
Open Stage also provides an opportunity for your band to show us what you can do as far as future Friday Night bookings go. (We've booked quite a few bands that way already.) Rock ... blues ... country ... acoustic ... whatever your musical alley is ... we're up it! (Hate to rain on anyone's parade but, no rap ... no hip hop ... and no metal. It just doesn't cut it here.) House PA is provided, along with drums and guitar and bass amp. You must bring your own guitar, bass or keyboards. If you want to bring you own amplification, we suggest being within the 30 to 75 watt range. |

Once in a while we like to change up our Fridays, and what better way than to host a Wii Bowling GUY/GIRL Team Challenge? Is there a more relaxing way to spend an evening with your girlfriend/boyfriend or wife/husband? (If you have both, I'd suggest leaving one of them at home.) Each team bowls two games (three, time permitting). Each team's highest combined score is counted. The top two teams bowl in a one game elimination playoff, with the winners metting the previous months Team Champions. You can win up to $40 in Obey House Gift Certificates AND your pictures will appear on this site all month as House Champions. |

Local comedian and Obey House favorite BRAD RYAN hosts an evening of comedy featuring Pittsburgh's newest and freshest young comedians. Brad has been hosting comedy shows here since June of 2007, and has never failed to deliver the laughs with each and every visit. There's never a cover, parking is free, there's always a drink special and the laughter is plentiful.

A field of sixteen (16) entrants compete in a series of single elimination matches to determine not only the winner of the contest but but who will reign as the defending House Champion! You even have the option of providing your own nickname and your own music to enter the play area to as you are introduced. The Event Winner not only wins the prize but gets a shot at the House Champion. You can sign up ahead of time to ensure your entry into the contest. And when Referee MIKE DOBBINS says "One Two Three Shoot!" IT'S ON, BABY!!!
