The OBEY HOUSE proudly presents classic movies plucked from the cinematic trashcan, a tradition here since the halcyon days of June 2006. If "PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE" or "ROBOT MONSTER" is YOUR idea of "GONE WITH THE WIND", then this is the place for you. Playing selected Mondays, which have been listed for your ease and edification below. Hey. Monday's don't have to suck anymore. Yes, here at "The House" we're making Mondays fun days again! Wii GOLF MONDAY NIGHT 9 HOLE (PAR 36) CHALLENGE 7:30 PM 
Every other Monday you are invited to stop in and play nine holes on the House Links on our Wii Golf game. The player with the lowest score each month wins something nice courtesy of STRAUB BEER. (Helpful tip: Try and stay out of the "Water Hole" and the "Sand Hole" while trying to get your ball in the "Ball Hole". That's all the help your getting.) See you on the tee!

Come in and give a listen to rare and obscure recordings from the 40's, 50's & 60'S. Eight (count 'em eight!) D J's each get 30 minutes to spin tunes from their own personal collection. Each month 16 contestants may enter the event. Alas, only 1 can win. Winner gets the spoils.
Losers can only dream of what might have been.
(But that CORONA beer special should help ease the pain.) Winner of the event moves on to meet our House Champion in the Reigning Champ Challenge. Wii BOWLING WEDNESDAY NIGHT QUALIFIER SERIES 7:30 PM - 11:00 PM 
Every Wednesday you are invited to the Obey House Lanes (well ... lane) and join us as we take video kegling to new and exciting horizons! Players can bowl up to three (3) games a night that will count towards their monthly average. The top eight players with the highest monthly averages are then invited to take part in the APPELT TROPHY ROLL OFF on the last Wednesday of the month. It's free, it's fun and it's a great way to make new friends. So join us!

APPELT TROPHY ROLL OFF 7:30 PM - 11:00 PM 
On the last Wednesday of every month, the top eight (8) Wii bowlers with the highest monthly averages are invited to take part in the APPELT TROPHY ROLL OFF. It works like this: The top eight players for the month bowl two games. The four players with the highest combined two game totals are then paired up via random selection for a one game roll off. The team with the highest score are the winners, each receiving a $15.00 Obey House Gift Certificate and a Coors Light Tee Shirt (subject to availablity). The player(s) with the highest three game series and the highest score for the night each win a $10.00 Obey House Gift Certificate. All three get their names entered on the coveted APPELT TROPHY (named after CATHY and BRUCE, those two crazy kids pictured left), while the losers are heckled and ridiculed unmercifully until my voice is raw and sore. And beer only adds to the fun!

OPEN STAGE BLUES JAM 9:00 PM - 1:00 AM 
OPEN STAGE (Electric & Acoustic) makes it's return to The House! And if you are into the blues then this is the night for you. Just bring in your instrument and sign up to play. Whether you want to do a few set songs or just jam, we'll be happy to play along. And in between, we'll pay some old blues tunes to enjoy. I mean. who doesn't like the blues? If you do, stop in. And if your not a blues fan, stop in and hear what you have been missing!

Enjoy the musical stylings of people you don't know singing songs you never heard of in ways you couldn't possibly imagine. Thrill to the onstage antics of your favorite Obey House Karaoke Superstars Live And In Person. It's an entertainment spectacle second to none (providing your easily entertained and arrive with little or no expectations.)
The fun starts at 9:30. So join us! (Sorry. No Rap, Hip Hop or profanity laced requests will be accepted. So avoid disappointment. Don't ask.) Somg requests are accepted till 1:00 AM, so get yours in before then!Featuring CORONA Bottle Special. NOVEMBER 6, 13, 20 & 27 |
As an added feature, up to two performers a night may be selected to receive our OBEY-OKE Award and complimentary Corona Tee Shirt (subject to availability)! Who would not want to be the first on thier block to have their very own authentic OBEY-OKE 10 inch plastic Echo Mic awarded to them for Karaoke excellence? Selectees will be based on their singing ablility, presentation and audience response / participation. (Loading up the crowd with a bunch of your friends certainly can't hurt!) Winners (should there be any) are announced at 12:30 AM and yes, you must be present to win.

OLDIES NIGHT MUSIC FROM THE 50'S & 60'S PLUS "NAME THAT TUNE" 9:30 PM - 1:30 AM PM 
The Obey House presents a special night of music from the glorious decade's of the 50'S & 60'S! Everything from Elvis to Little Eva to the Four Tops to the Strawberry Alarm Clock. And as it just so happens, the people who grew up with this stuff really are in their 50's and 60's! Maybe we should have called it "Old Guy's Night". Just pop a One-A-Day Centrum and stock up on the Ben Gay. You'll probably need both.

WII BOWLING HOUSE CHALLENGE "BEAT THE OWNER" 9:00 PM 
I LOVE this idea! Up to twelve players can bowl two games, which will be added together for your night's total.
 The players with the top three scores will play yours truly in a one game roll off. If one of you beat me, you get a $15.00 gift certificate to the House. If two of you beat me, the person with the highest gets the $15.00 dollar certificate and the other one for $10. If all three of you beat me, it's a $15, $10 and $10 breakdown. Please note the operative word for the last three sentences was "IF". Hey PATTI, SUE, CATHY, BRUCE, BOB, KAREN W, JIMMY, NANCY, KAREN H, MICHELLE, KATIE, RICH, GINA and MRS. GINA'S MOM! For all of you women who keep asking me when you are going to get to dance here, enough already! Tonight is all for you! All of your favorites from the Disco 70'S to the wild and wooly 80'S! And co-D J's KATHY and MARK will take your requests. And if we ain't got it, we'll get it! That's how we roll!!!
